Alterations, Refunds, and Returns Policy

At Tailored Threads, we are committed to delivering custom garments with a quality fit and designed to your unique preferences. While we strive for perfection, minor adjustments may sometimes be needed to achieve the ideal fit. This policy outlines our approach to alterations, remakes, and refunds, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.

1. Alterations Policy

Custom clothing often benefits from small adjustments to achieve a quality fit. Below are the common alterations customers may encounter:

Jackets:

  • Adjust sleeve length (shorten or lengthen).
  • Taper the sleeves.
  • Alter the sides (taking them in or letting them out) via side seams or center seam.
  • Raise or lower the collar.
  • Adjust the overall jacket length.

Pants:

  • Adjust the waist or seat.
  • Taper the legs.
  • Modify the hem length (shorten or lengthen).

Vests:

  • Shorten the overall length of the vest.
  • Take in the sides.

Shirts:

  • Adjust sleeve length (shorten or lengthen).
  • Taper the sleeves.
  • Taper the body using side seams or darts.
  • Shorten the overall shirt length.

If minor alterations are needed, we offer the following alteration credits in USD to cover tailoring costs. Alteration credits must be requested within 14 days of receiving your garment.

  • Suit (Jacket & Pant)Up to $150
  • Suit (Jacket, Vest & Pant)Up to $175
  • JacketsUp to $100
  • PantsUp to $50
  • VestsUp to $25
  • ShirtsUp to $25

These credits will be reimbursed upon submitting a valid receipt from your tailor. Tailored Threads reserves the right to deny reimbursement for alterations that exceed these limits or are unnecessary.

2. Remakes

Using Our Body Scanning Technology:

If fit issues cannot be resolved through alterations, we will cover the cost of a remake to ensure your satisfaction.

Standard Sizes (No Body Scanning):

If you opted for standard sizes instead of our body scanning technology, any remakes will require the customer to cover 50% of the garment's retail value.

3. Customizations and Their Remakes

We take pride in offering extensive customization options to design garments to your exact preferences. Please note the following policies related to customizations:

Incorrect Customizations (Our Error):

If your garment includes incorrect customizations due to a mistake on our part, we will remake the garment at no cost to you.

Customer-Selected Customizations:

If you are dissatisfied with the customizations you selected, a remake of the garment will require 50% of the garment's retail value.

4. Refund Policy

At Tailored Threads, each garment is uniquely designed and made to your specifications. Due to the personalized nature of our products, we do not offer refunds on orders. However, if you experience any issues with your order, we are here to help.

Contact Us: If you encounter any problems with your garment, email us at support@tailoredthreads.com within 14 days of receiving your order, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

Our priority is your satisfaction, and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure you are delighted with your custom piece.

5. Additional Notes

Fabric Allowances: While we do our best to accommodate alterations, certain adjustments (e.g., letting out seams or lengthening) may be limited by the fabric allowance in your garment. Please consult with our team for guidance.

Third-Party Tailors: If you choose to have your garment altered by a third-party tailor, we recommend working with an experienced professional. Tailored Threads is not responsible for costs or issues arising from third-party alterations.
